Casting mould and its common types
08-03
What kinds of casting moulds are there?
1. Forging forming die: Forging and casting are the most commonly used processing technology for producing parts and components. Forging die mainly includes: die forging and forging die for large press, forging die for screw press, forging die for flat forging machine, roll forging die, etc. At the same time, fastener cold heading die, extrusion die, drawing die, liquid forging die, etc. also belong to forging die.
2. Stamping die: also known as stamping die, stamping die processes materials in cold stamping process to obtain process equipment of parts. This type of die mainly includes blanking die, bending die, drawing die, single-process die, composite die, progressive die, automobile panel die, composite die, motor silicon steel sheet die.
3. Plastic molding mold: due to the wide application of plastic in life, plastic molding is also a very common processing material in the industrial field. Therefore, in order to process plastic, there are plastic molding molds in the mold: compression molding mold, extrusion molding mold, injection mold, thermosetting plastic injection mold, extrusion molding mold foam molding mold, low tool tool foam injection molding mold and blow molding mold are all plastic molding molds.
4. Metal mold for casting: This type of mold has some similarities with die-casting mold, but it focuses more on casting, metal mold used for casting various metal parts.
5. Die-casting mold: castings are one of the most common types of parts in production and processing. The die-casting mold mainly includes die-casting mold for hot chamber die-casting machine, horizontal cold chamber die-casting machine, vertical cold chamber die-casting machine, full-vertical die-casting machine, non-ferrous metal die-casting, and ferrous metal die-casting mold.
6. Powder metallurgy mold forming mold: The powder metallurgy mold forming mold is relatively complex, mainly including: manual mold, mobile mold, sleeve type one-way and two-way compression mold, sleeve type floating compression mold, and shaping mold. Among these types, there are also subordinate categories. For example, the manual mold also includes: radial shaping mold, full shaping mold with outer step sleeve, shaping mold with spherical surface, etc.
7. Glassware moulds: moulds for glassware are mainly classified according to the processing form. The former is the mould for forming bottles and cans, the latter is the mould for forming bottles and cans, and the mould for glassware, etc.
8. Rubber molding mold: At this time, rubber processing mold mainly includes rubber pressing mold, rubber extrusion mold and injection mold.
9. Ceramic mold: forming metal mold for various ceramic ware and other products.
10. Economic mold (simple mold): This is also a common processing mold used by some small enterprises. Because of its economy, it is very popular. This type of mold mainly includes: low melting point alloy forming mold, sheet die, laminated die, silicone rubber mold, epoxy resin mold, ceramic precision casting mold, etc.

Classification and application of cemented carbide punches
As we all know, cemented carbide has a wide range of applications in the industrial field, and the cemented carbide punch we are going to talk about today is one of them. The cemented carbide punch, also known as the cemented carbide punch, is a precision die part with high precision, high hardness and good bending strength made of cemented carbide round bar. Usually, we use carbide punch, die button and bushing together for stamping iron tower.
Main advantages of aluminum alloy die castings
Aluminum alloy die castings play an important role in today's industry and are widely used in many industries. With the continuous development of society, people's living needs are getting higher and higher, and the demand for aluminum die casting process is also increasing.
Digital upgrading of domestic casting industry and rapid growth of additive manufacturing industry
The domestic traditional casting production process belongs to the non-digital simulation process mode, and the production process and casting result prediction highly depend on the personal experience and ability of technicians. Other industrial products manufacturing industries (automobile, aerospace, shipbuilding, machining, etc.) have gradually completed the full digital upgrade of design and manufacturing.
Cause Analysis of Defects in Die Casting
1) The design of the die casting itself is unreasonable: the wall thickness, shape, round corner, demoulding angle and porosity are not appropriate. 2) Performance problems of die-casting machine: insufficient injection force and locking force, improper casting pressure and filling speed, mismatching of casting size and projected area of die-casting machine capacity, etc.
Causes and solutions of blowholes in die casting opening
Zinc die-casting is the process of filling molten zinc into the mold cavity rapidly and under high pressure. The time for liquid zinc to fill the cavity of the die-casting mold is very short, which is usually several hundredths of a second or several thousandths of a second. The pores formed in the process of die casting have smooth surface, and the shape is mostly circular or elliptical. They mostly exist on the surface or subcutaneous pores of the casting, and may also exist in the casting. The main source of pores is the gas involved in the process of die casting or the gas evolution of zinc liquid. 1、 Air entrainment during die casting.
Causes and Solutions of Die Casting Deformation
Reasons for deformation: the overall or local geometry and design of the die casting do not match the finished product, which is called deformation. 1. The structural design of die castings is not perfect, which is caused by uneven shrinkage; 2. The temperature of die casting mould is high, the hardness of its own mould is not enough, and the cooling time is not enough; 3. The mold setting position is unreasonable and deflected;
