The steel punch (H13) has high hardenability, high toughness and excellent resistance to hot cracking. It can be water-cooled in the workplace and has high wear resistance. Carburizing or nitriding process is used to improve its surface hardness. Because of its low carbon content, it has the ability to resist softening at higher temperatures, that is, it can withstand the working temperature of 650 ℃ - 720 ℃. The deformation of heat treatment is small, significantly improving the punch life, demoulding speed and casting strength, overcoming the adhesion and erosion of molten metal slag to the punch, improving the surface quality of the casting, and reducing the production cost.
